The 2017 Communication and PR Awards are now open for entries

"Winning the highly commended in house communications team, and also the Communicator of the Year award has been a tremendous achievement both for myself and my company GallifordTry.

“These awards are impressive  news stories and are great for reinforcing our good name and raises our profile in many areas.

“Many of the awards have previously been won by architects and PR firms, so making the judges aware that Civil Engineering companies play a key role in the subject of communication, is very important to our industry. It demonstrates that communication and good PR is not just about Twitter, Facebook or social media generally, but the human face to face contact.

“From a personal perspective, winning ‘Communicator of the Year ‘ could be viewed as the pinnacle of one’s career, and I certainly feel a huge sense of achievement.”

Chaired and judged by leading editors and PR practitioners representing the built environment, previous winners all demonstrated sector specific skills, knowledge, creativity and professionalism. This is a unique opportunity for you to be acknowledged and rewarded for your expertise and flair.

The Awards are intended to showcase and give recognition to in-house PR departments, Public Relations Consultants and Independent PR Practitioners working in the built environment, including architecture, construction, residential and commercial property. The Awards are dedicated to communications activity and were established in 2013 in response to the increasing recognition by journalists and PR professionals of the important role that public relations and communications plays in the industry.

“The IBP awards provide an excellent opportunity for communication professionals to get the recognition they deserve for the important role they play working for organisations in the built environment.”
