Communication and PR Awards 2016

IBP Young Communicator of the Year, Amelie Barrau, WSP Parsons | Brinckerhoff, celebrates her win with left: Sarah Richardson, Editor, Building magazine and right: Sophie Walker, Leader of the Women’s Equality Party

'Award winners use measurement, social media and good old fashioned communication skills'

This year’s Communication and PR Awards grew by nearly 40% and reducing the longlist to a final interview shortlist was, the judges agreed, difficult. The standard of all the entries was notably high and the finalists needed to use all their presentation skills at their final session to secure an Award. Well done to all participants for providing a wide range of their work for the judges to review. Sophie Walker, Leader of the Women’s Equality Party set the tone of the Awards by encouraging the communications industry to campaign for gender equality to the benefit of all. Please click here to hear Sophie’s opening remarks.
