THE WREN TALK: Tuesday 14 June at 7pm

As a result of The Great Fire of London Sir Christopher Wren was able to draw up his plans for a renewed London, sadly not supported by King Charles II.  Nevertheless Wren did change the City skyline for ever, with many of his spires still dominating the skyline.

This year’s Wren Talk: “The Great Fire of London” looks at the effects of the fire and the opportunities it created for Wren and Londoners.

The Talk will be delivered by writer and historian, Adrian Tinniswood, at St Bride’s, Fleet Street, on Tuesday 14 June.
