The support from the judges and the category sponsors has been overwhelming and serves to underline the important role these awards provide in highlighting the work of our media.

Now more than ever it is important that we all encourage and acknowledge the work of journalists in the built environment. Each of us have the opportunity to support the work of journalists and reward their best articles and campaigns by telling our media contacts about this year’s awards and passing on the details below.

Key dates and timeline for 2020 Journalism Awards

Friday 28th August: Call for Entries Open
Friday 11th September: Awards Close
Wednesday 16th September: Online longlist judging commences
Friday 25th September: Online longlist judging completed
Thursday 01st October: Shortlist ‘live’ judging at The Building Centre
Thursday 19th November: Awards Presentation Dinner
