The Commercial Property Writer has been added to this years awards categories to provide a platform for new projects, redevelopments, market trends, valuations and profiles of people in key roles or making an impact.
The Business/Financial Journalist category has been refreshed and extended to include meaningful articles which clearly demonstrate an overall understanding of the sector, subject and the needs of their readers as well as sound commercial outcomes.
The New Journalist award continues to encourage journalists with two years or less experience in our sector to demonstrate good research, investigative style and bold subjects. In addition to the category win, each of the three finalists will also be offered a bursary project.
While the Scoop of the Year category is designed to reward an outstanding piece of journalism that broke news with a big impact within the built environment sector.
The primary topic categories, Architecture Writer, Construction/Infrastructure Writer and Housing and Residential Property Journalist are supported by our strong generic News Reporter and Feature Writer awards.
