This award provides an excellent opportunity for In-house corporate affairs teams, Consultancies and PR practitioners to receive recognition for the important role they fulfil in promoting all aspects of the built environment.
The award will be judged by Emily Booth, editor Architects' Journal, Chloe McCulloch, editor Building, Lem Bingley, editor Construction News, Marcus Fairs, founder/editor Dezeen, Martin Hilditch, editor Inside Housing and Claire Smith, editor New Civil Engineer. The panel of judges will be chaired by IBP chair Harriett Hindmarsh, Chief Marketing Officer, AECOM.
The award recognises those who have achieved excellence with campaigns that promote any and all aspects of architecture, civil engineering, construction, commercial and residential property.
The award category was established as part of the broader Communications and PR Awards in response to the recognition by journalists of the important role that marcomms plays in informing the media, industry and the general public of construction development projects and how they can impact on the urban landscape and communities.
The Campaign of the Year Award will be presented at the 2020 Annual Journalism Awards presentations reception planned to take place later this year.
