New President for IBP

I am delighted to announce that Tom Broughton, Managing Director, Assemble Media Group (right) has graciously agreed to take on the role of IBP President. He takes over from Emma Maier, former editor Inside Housing, who becomes an Honorary Vice President.

I would like to pay tribute to Emma who guided IBP through the review of the Annual National Journalism Awards and oversaw the introduction of several new categories. Emma’s insightfulness and experience as the editor of a successful award winning title proved the catalyst for the IBP awards to become even more relevant in a constantly changing media environment.

I am equally delighted that Martin Hilditch, Editor, Inside Housing, (left) has accepted the invitation to join the IBP board of management. Martin’s participation continues to provide IBP with a broad approach to promoting the aims and objectives of IBP.
