New categories and return of Commercial Property award join old favourites to mark IBP’s 50th year

Key dates, sponsors and judges announced for 2019 Journalism Awards

AECOM again headline the awards with Marley sponsoring the new Editorial Brand category. New sponsors, Glen Dimplex, Live Group and Thomas & Trotman Design, join BDP, Willmott Dixon, Barratt Developments, Savills, FTI Consulting and The Built Environment Trust while the return of the Commercial Property Writer category is hosted by Sidell Architects.

We are also pleased to announce this year’s judges, drawn from journalists, former editors, journalists, including many previous IBP Journalism Award winners, and leading built environment professionals

Friday 30 August: Call for Entries Open for 12 month period ending 30th August 2019
Friday 13 September: Entries Close
Wednesday 18 September: online longlist judging commences
Monday 07 October: ‘live’ shortlist judging
Thursday 28 November; Awards Presentation Dinner, Four Seasons hotel, Park Lane.

Manchester based Clare PR will be hosting the pre-dinner reception and post awards party as part of their 30th Anniversary celebrations.

All journalists that enter will be hosted at the awards dinner by IBP.
