This year also sees the launch of the Scoop of the Year Award category. The criteria, drawn up by the sector's editors, will be included in the guidance notes provided with the online Call for Entries at the end of July.

Here are your key dates:

• First call for Entries end of July
• Articles published in print or online for the last twelve months ending 31 August 2015 are applicable
• Closing date for entries: Friday 4 September
• Final face-to-face awards judging session: Monday 5 October
• Nominations announced: Tuesday 6 October
• Awards Presentation Dinner: Thursday 19 November at the Four Seasons hotel
